I've made two sets of desktop wallpapers, dark and light with both being available in the following resolutions:
1280 x 800
1680 x 1050
1920 x 1200
Enjoy!! I certainly enjoyed drawing them : )

Poor Mercury ;___; and Pluto
(Counts the planets) You forgot one planet - Pluto. Just thought I'd point that out.
(It IS a planet, damn it! It's got five friggen moons! FIVE! That's five more than Mercury does! If it has enough power to attract that many moons than damn it, it deserves to be called a planet!)
in order to be classified as a planet, a special body must bide by three main rules, and pluto, along with hundreds of other similar objects, breaks one of those rules, and that's having an orbit that doesn't intercept another planet's orbit. besides, would you rather learn the names of eight planets or nearly 1000?
plus, mercury doesn't have any moons. T_T
Anyway, if Pluto count as a Planet than many other objects in Kuiper belt must by count as planets too. Many small objects there (behind Neptune orbit) have a satellites, and Eris mass is higher than Pluto. In that case Solar system planets count will grow significantly (it is chance that in future there will be found more similar objects).
Also it is suspected, that in Solar system exist hundreds of dwarf planets. It will by hard to memorize so much names, and draw on Solar System Wallpaper if consider them planets .
